Völkl’s beer league GS skis are built for serious frontside performance with a touch of forgiveness, thanks to their 3D.GLASS construction—a sandwich layup featuring two layers of fiberglass. One layer wraps around the base and over the sidewalls for added torsional strength, while the other sits just beneath the top metal layer to enhance power transmission. This innovative build delivers a smooth, progressive flex throughout the ski, making transitions between long and short turns more fluid and intuitive. Tailored Carbon Tip technology further enhances precision, allowing for quick, controlled turn initiation with exceptional edge hold and responsiveness.

RMOTIONT 12 Binding – The included RMOTION 12 Binding System, exclusive to Marker and Völkl, is a high-performance, toolless plate and binding designed specifically for on-piste skis. Engineered for increased strength and stiffness, it delivers more direct power transmission and enhanced feedback for precise control. A new integrated absorber improves ski dynamics and provides smoother energy transfer, while the advanced release system offers next-level safety and responsiveness for aggressive skiing.

TAILORED CARBON TIP

The latest Volkl technology is Tailored Fibre Placement. The Tailored Carbon Tips are produced in an innovative manufacturing process by embroidering the individual carbon fibers onto a carrier material. This allows them to be positioned precisely along stress lines, delivering just the right response from the tip during turn initiation. The stiffness and torsion can be adjusted via the fiber thickness and millimeter-precise alignment. In this way, the fibers guide the dynamics to the parts of the ski where they are needed. The visibly integrated Tailored Carbon Tips are lightweight and allow the ski to build up energy, getting the skier into the turn quickly with incredible control and precision.

POWERED BY TITANIUM

Constructed of extra thin and strong aluminum alloy providing perfect dampening characteristics. The titanium setup makes the ski agile and dynamic, especially friends of a hard, fast, and aggressive riding style benefit from the quick response of this construction.

3D.GLASS

3D.GLASS is Völkl’s development to furthermore improve overall ski performance and stability even in critical snow conditions. Compared to classic glass constructions, the three-dimensional and multiple-folded glass layers in the tip and tail area result in an increased edge grip and a more vivid rebound behavior in turns.

MULTI-LAYER WOOD CORE

A combination of lighter, softer poplar wood and heavier, stronger beech wood provides an ideal blend of lightweight, strength, durability and damping: The beech typically concentrates where the most power is needed in the ski, such as under the binding or alongside the edges and sidewalls.

TIP ROCKER

An early-rise tip design for racing. The combination of an early rise tip and a classic camber profile in the rest of the ski provides easy, smooth turn entry regardless of conditions. The ski is forgiving and easy to handle.

Zebra Base Structure

The Zebra pattern is a more aggressive base structure to offer the best possible precision & steering characteristics for the front of the skis.
